Blake Griffin "The Beast"

Finally ESPN does a Blake Griffin best 10 plays highlight reel. It is a must watch. I have no idea of the future of the Clippers but this much is in little doubt: IF Mr. Griffin remains healthy his potential ceiling is cause to watch a 3 win team even right now.

Endeavour Comes Home

A stark and somewhat surreal photo of Endeavour on final approach to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida was posted last night shortly after the successful completion of the mission to install one of the final large sections of the ISS. Weekly Address 16.Jan.2010

President Obama explains the bank fees he is pushing through to be applied to the largest financial firms that benefited from the TARP program and whose continued existence is largely a function of the massive assistance granted to it by the Treasury and Federal Reserve and ultimately the US taxpayers. This fee will complete the recovery of all of the 750B$ of TARP funds + interest over a period of 10 years and in my opinion if clearly sensible and entirely justified.
